Angling History and Achievements: I started fishing at the age of ten with my mum and my brother for Tench and Bream at Pool Cafe (which later became Withy Pool). I also fished local rivers and ponds at a young age and then joined Letchworth and Shefford Angling Clubs. At the Airman Pit in Henlow I fished for ctafish and carp up to low 20's. In the early to mid 80's, I fished Arlesley Lake for the carp. The biggest in there at the time was 28lb which was considered massive in my eyes back then! At that time I moved from water to water and on my return to Pool Cafe my first 20 was 23lb 12oz, one of the biggest in there at the time. Kevin Maddocks took over Pool Cafe and I then joined the syndicate a year later. My first fish out of Withy as a member was 28lb 12oz. I went on to catch numerous 30s to 36lb, one of which was Pete Wilson's and Withy's first forty!! Then moved on to a well known Bedfordshire water and have fished it up to the present day fishing two weekends per month. I have had 11 40's up 46lb from this water.
Most memorable angling moment: An eight fish catch in December 2000 which included 20's, 30's and topped by a 40 on the two night session.

Future plans / Venues you would like to fish: Anywhere with big fish in.
Favourite Ultima products: Power Carp line because it suits all my requirements and fits the bill!

Other sports: Enjoy taking my boy to football.
