Angling History and Achievements: I have been carp fishing since 1980, fishing many different venues in the UK and France. I mainly fish syndicate venues but like to visit some day ticket fisheries. I have caught carp up to 52lb in the UK and 65.05lb in France, including approximately 30 carp over 40lb. Prior to carp fishing, fishing for any species since I was four.
Most memorable angling moment: Catching my first 20lb, 30lb, 40lb, 50lb and 60lb carp. Catching my first 2lb plus Perch and 15lb barbel. Many other memorable moments including landing british record catfish for Richard Gardner. Every time I catch from a new venue.
Favourite Venues: Currently Bundy’s Pit, Jackdaw Lake, previously Ringstead Carp Fishery, Elton Lakes, Withy Pool and Linch Hill.
Future plans / Venues you would like to fish: To keep catching large carp, perch, barbel, roach and tench, ie. 70lb carp in France.
Favourite Ultima products: Power Carp and Power Match.
Favourite rigs: Any rig I am using at the time, include Withy Pool Rig, Chod Rig, Line Aligner, Multi Rig etc. and many more.
Favourite bait: Ultimate Peach and Pepper, MCF Hartford Mix, tiger nuts, sweetcorn and hemp seed. |

People I would most like to meet: I would like to meet Arnold Schwartznegger, Will Smith and Cameron Diaz.
Favourite TV programmes: Mainly movies and sport (football, golf, cricket and boxing).
Favourite music: Varied including some R&B, 2Pac, Rod Stewart and Phil Collins.
Other sports: Golf and football.
Likes: Being successful in business, family life, eating out, holidays on the beach, fishing for massive carp, people with a sense of humour.
Dislikes: Not very much, celery, waking up early, hook pulls.
