Distance was designed to give anglers maximum range when casting, to give as many options as possible.Distance is super soft, super smooth and equally effective and user-friendly when used on a multiplier or fixed spool reel. Distance is primarily intended for smoother beaches because in order to get maximum casting distance the line has had to be made ultra soft, giving up to 15% more distance in field testing than conventional lines. Many anglers throughout Europe have also found Distance an excellent line for all kinds of casting and spinning for predatory and game fishing in both salt and freshwater. Distance is also the first choice for serious tournament casters. Producing a solid hi-vis line with good knot strength is one of the most difficult tasks in fishing line design and manufacture. Ultima have remarkably managed to achieve a 100% knot strength with Distance so you can benefit from all the other advantages of this remarkable product while fishing in total confidence.  Distance incorporates all the usual Ultima characteristics of strength and reliability, and is produced in a high visibility Fire Orange colour in 4oz and 1/2 kilo spools.
