New Ultima Power Silk moves the performance bar for Pole and Rig line even higher.

Linear and knot strength out perform anything else out there; However the most important development with Power Silk is its extreme softness.  This has been achieved by a combination of high quality materials, a unique softening process and a fluorocarbon coating, which also reduces visibility to a minimum.

PRESENTATION IS THE KEY

Presentation is possibly the most critically important factor in the quest to increase bites and catch rates.  Our goal with Power Silk was to deliver ultimate presentation to the competition angler as well as maximum strength.

ULTRA HIGH STRENGTH

The highest quality Japanese were selected to give Power Silk an incredibly high linear and knot strength which is of course essential for any successful rig line.  Production is carried out in small carefully controlled batches to ensure accuracy of diameter and consistent quality control.

SUPER SOFT TECHNOLOGY

Power Silk’s incredible strength was a great start.  However our goal was to also produce a line that presents the bait as naturally is.  Improved softening results were achieved by doubling the softening bath time and altering the bath medium formula.

Further softening was achieved by then adding a fluorocarbon coating to make Power Silk the softest, smoothest and best presenting line on the market.

The fluorocarbon coating also has the effect of providing a waterproof coating to Power Silk and so it maintains 100% knot strength.

Power Silk is a truly remarkable product and makes it virtually invisible in water.
