Angling History and Achievements: I am the youngest ever winner of the Kamasan Matchman of the year at 21. I have won the Kamasan Matchman of the year 3 years in succession 2000-2001,2001-2002,2002-2003. I was individual world silver medallist in Portugal in 1996 representing England youth. I was runner-up in the 'John Smith's' Wychavon Champs in 2001. I have numerous open match wins on all methods and on all kinds of waters to my name
Most memorable angling moment: Winning a big open match on the River Weaver when I was 12 years old. 105 of the North west's best matchmen fished the event including Kevin Ashurst who was a few pegs away. I had 23lbs 3oz of bream and tench from peg 494 on the waggler and 15lbs came second.

Future plans / Venues you would like to fish: My main goal is to qualify for Fishomania and then to win the final. I would also like to win a festival at Whiteacres. Also I would like my coaching to keep going from strength to strength.
Favourite Ultima products: The Flocast line is one of my favourites as it is completely unique and I know it has put more fish in my net. Also Power Silk is a big favourite of mine, the fluorocarbon coating sets it apart from any other line. And the Power Match is unbelievably strong and is all I use in the summer.
