Angling History and Achievements: Former All Ireland under 18 championship winner. Three under 18 international caps. Four senior international caps. Four major festival wins. Galway 4 man team captian. 4 man All Ireland team Champions. Numerous open match wins.
Most memorable angling moment: Beating Italitian international Jacopo Falsini off the next peg in the 2001 world Championships, when he was the reigning World and European Champion. Winning the first Adrian O Sullivan memorial match, (Adrian was a good friend of mine who drowned aged 20).
Favourite Venues: Kevins shore on Rossduff, Gowna. The Joinery section of Ballyquirke Lake Galway Ireland. The River Arno in Florence Italy.
Future plans / Venues you would like to fish: I'd like to fish for big mahseer in India. I would like to continue getting into the frame in the major Irish festivals and to keep learning.
