Angling History and Achievements: During my career in angling, I have had many successes with several major open wins including the masters title secured on east coast, my International Achievements have been also in my opinion been fantastic, as an angler one bronze and two Silver team Medals, topped off with Wales’s first World Gold Medal at world level, as a manager of the welsh team for the last 8 years, I have enjoyed the seen the transformation of the squad and feel my contribution has seen the teams ability to compete at all levels improve and this has been recognized by our Nations Ranking in the World level now standing at third, this is in my opinion a brilliant achievement.
Most memorable angling moment: One of my most memorable Angling Moments had to be securing Team Gold as a Manager against Continental Teams and on their ground In Portugal this is one of my Highlights.
Another moment would be the series of Videos Fast and Furious with Flynn during the first edition, I had the opportunity to travel to Bardsey Island off the Llyn Peninsiula the fishing was unbelievable wrasse to record sizes , Pollock as many as you wanted and it really was fitting with the title of the series
Favourite Venues: I don’t really have a favourite venue I enjoy all venues.
Future plans / Venues you would like to fish: Continued successes, I hope one day I will be able to travel to Egypt to tackle the Nile Perch, hopefully this could be done on Camera.
Favourite Ultima products: F1 has been one of the main lines ,recently have used but power carp and this has been a fantastic line. Tapered leaders.
Favourite rigs: No set rig as I usually need to practice different areas to see what is needed.
Favourite bait: As rigs what ever bait is needed, I have even tried baits you wouldn’t dream of using and success is based on having an edge. |
