Angling History and Achievements: Course fished with my dad from a very early age, he was a star and very patient. [first fish was a tiny perch from a fire brigade pit in willaston.] Was a keen club course match angler till the age of 25ish, after that got hooked on sea angling, fished for quite a few years with my local club, and became interested in match angling after that, strange how addictive it can become. Have met some fantastic lads from all over the country and abroad.
Most memorable angling moment: Would have been when david my youngest son qualified to fish for his county at junior and then youth level, he seemed to have a natural ability without the need for huge effort, [which did my head in]. Along with my gear constantly disappearing. Team gold in portugal 2006 along with individual silver, and my tiny perch.
Favourite Venues: Will fish in a sink if it's pegged.
Future plans / Venues you would like to fish: Loads I still want to do but fishing at world level must be the ambition of most.
Favourite Ultima products: Tapered leaders are fantastic.
Favourite rigs: None, just whats required (stupid question).
Favourite bait: As above but even more stupid. |

Favourite TV programmes: Football. Mock The Week. Father Ted.
Favourite music: Cerys Matthews or any other fossil stuff.
Other sports: Fishing doesn’t allow enough spare time.
Likes: Matches anywhere and catching up with the lads.
Dislikes: Stupidity and poor organisation.
