Angling History and Achievements: I have been fishing from the age of four years old; from the very first fish that I caught I was hooked. Over the years I have won many open and club competitions, including the very prestigious Kent classic and British sea angling championship which attracts over 400 anglers each year, I have won this event five times.
Most memorable angling moment: My first fish caught this being a small flounder and my first and last Kent classic win.
Favourite Venues: Labasheeda on the River Shannon, the light house at Black Head Murroogh, County Clair, Eastchurch Gap on the Isle of Sheppey and the Boil at Dungeness.
Plans for 2008 Glorioso Islands of the coast of Madagascar for the sting ray/ my next angling trip to County Clair with old friends and family.
Favourite Ultima products: Ultima Distance and F1 the casting performance, high not strength, durability over all terrains is outstanding.
Favourite rigs: The pulley and bomber rigs, flapper any rig depending on the venue.
Favourite bait: Lugworm, ragworm, maddies, crab, shellfish after a storm.
People you would most like to meet: The person I would have liked to have met and had a day’s fishing with, was the late Jack Hargreaves.
Favourite TV programmes: Factual true life documentaries.
Favourite music: Sole and classical and anything that I can relax to.
Other sports: Football, pool, snooker, darts.
Likes: Fishing and relaxing with old friends and family, pub lunches.
Dislikes: Any form of racism, those that make allegations but don’t have the integrity to approach the individual concerned, arrogance, bullying and loud drunks.
