Angling History and Achievements: I started fishing for carp since 1988 and before that I was a match angler. I enjoy fishing very much and also the contacts with other anglers from Belgium and England. I like to fish in a beautiful area and enjoy being outside. My goal is to enjoy fishing as much as I have at this moment. I am not a real target hunter; the weight of the fish is not the most important thing to me.
Most memorable angling moment: I was fishing at a pressured lake and I saw fish jumping in an area that was too far to cast out. I left my gear alone and drove back home to pick up my bait boat. At that day I caught 16 fish, most of them above 13 kilo's and 2 above 15 kilo's. I had to stop fishing because I was out of bait. What a day!
Favourite Venues: Absolutely Rainbow Lake.
Plans for 2008 / Venues you would like to fish: This season I want to go fishing at Lac Serreire, at the rivers l'Oise and Saone, a session with Tommy at the river Maas in Belgium and a session with Wesley also in Belgium. Most of the time I'm fishing at a big lake near Amsterdam on a private spot from a good friend of mine, Nico thanks!
Favourite Ultima products: Virage 0.45mm for snag leader, Hardcore for stiff rigs and of course Power Carp because it is the best line on the market.
Favourite rigs: 'effectively' rigs with a snowman or a wafter set up.
Favourite bait: Boiliefrost.
People you would most like to meet: I have already met Frank Warwick.
Favourite TV programmes: Sports.
Favourite music: Chill house music like the cd's from Café del Mar from Ibiza and Dance Classics.
Other sports: Cycle racing.
Likes: Reliable people and having fun, life is too short...
Dislikes: Unreliable persons, fishers that don't clean up their spot and leave all the garbage there.
