Angling History and Achievements: Fished since the age of 5, game fished for 20 years before switching to coarse angling Fished with the Carlisle and District Corase Angling Club for several years winning numerous trophies (Heaviest Match Weight 2005, 2006, Gerry Clarke Winter Shield 2005, 2006, Colin Richardson Trophy 2002, Specimen Trophy 2002, Pairs Trophy 2002, Pairs runner up 2003). Joined Monklands AC in 2005 and concentrated on fishing big waters, runner up in Monklands Winter League 2005. 3rd overall Loch Ken August festival 2006.
Most memorable angling moment: Winning the first ever match I entered.

Plans for 2008 / Venues you would like to fish: Will be concentrating on fishing Bream Matches at various venues in the North West and trying to learn from the best.
Favourite Ultima products: Flocast, revolutionary hollow line, never seen anything like it before. Very limp, perfect for my style of fishing.
Favourite rigs: Stillwater Bream Rigs.
Favourite bait: Maggots.
People you would most like to meet: Jan Van Schendal.
Favourite TV programmes: Never mind the buzzcocks.
Favourite music: AC/DC, Iron Maiden.
Other sports: Football with work.
Likes: Meeting people, people who strive to high standards, self learning (I study with the OU).
Dislikes: Rude people, people who catch more fish than me!!!
