Angling History and Achievements: I fished as a kid and returned to angling about 10 years ago. I started back as a pleasure angler and then progressed through a local club and then on to open matches. I won several club trophies and was also the first Holgan Farm Annual Champion. I was winner of the 2007 Match Fishing Subscriber Classic. I have won/framed in a number of open matches.
Most memorable angling moment: Introducing my 2 sons to angling when they were much younger and winning £500 plus tackle in the 2007 Match Fishing Subscriber Classic.
Favourite Venues: -
Plans for 2008 / Venues you would like to fish: I will continue to fish matches at White Springs and Holgan Farm. I am hoping to fish a few Fishomania qualifiers and looking forward to taking up my invite to the Match Fishing Cup.
Favourite Ultima products: Power Plus and Power Match. Both are strong and reliable and do exactly what it says on the spool!
Favourite rigs: I enjoy using a hand-made range of floats from Ian to Plis.
Favourite bait: Pellets.
People you would most like to meet: Not generally one to be 'starstruck'
Favourite TV programmes: Shameless and The Simpsons.
Favourite music: I like a wide range of music, especially Talking Heads, Pink Floyd and Motorhead.
Other sports: I'm a fan of Wrexham FC ( currently suffering a temporary dip in form).
Likes: The 'Big Match' atmosphere.
Dislikes: My recent run of rubbish draws!!!
