Angling History and Achievements: Coarse fished from the age of 10, then started Sea Angling at about the age of 14. Started serious Match fishing at age of 17. Won numerous matches up until age of 21 then had a break for several years. I've been back for about 7 years and won every North West ASAC trophy and now concentrate more on other matches around UK. Qualified 3 times out of 3 for Welsh National Team.
Most memorable angling moment: Winning Liverpool Echo Open with over 300 entrants at age of 19. Being asked by Welsh Team manager to fish for Wales if eligible and qualifying 3 times out of 3. This year I'm going to represent Wales in the World Championships in France.

Pwuelli - North Wales
Bortu - Mid Wales
Plans for 2008 / Venues you would like to fish: Putting plenty of practice to catch bass as this is main species that we will be fishing for in World Championships.
Continue fishing lots of Opens around the UK ie Cuesil and Wales.
Favourite Ultima products: F1, the best line i've ever used, been using it for 10yrs, i use it on any venue from Rocks to Beaches and it's never let me down.
Favourite rigs: Portsmouth Loop for distance fishing with multi hook rigs.
Flappers for all round fishing.
Favourite bait: Peeler Crabs, Black Lug and White Ragworm.
People you would most like to meet: Some of the top match anglers around Europe.
Favourite TV programmes: Shameless, Rex Hunt and Fishing on the Edge.
Favourite music: U2, Keane, Snow Patrol and Amy Winehouse.
Other sports: Snooker, Darts.
Likes: Meeting people from all around the country when fishing matches. Helping/ advising others on how to improve their angling.
Dislikes: Anglers that leave litter and give the rest of us a bad name.
