Angling History and Achievements: I fished mostly for pleasure as a yongster on the River Ouse, basically for whatever I could catch. I also fished a little in my time in South Africa for large mouth bass and bluegill. It was only in the early 80's that I took fishing more seriously. I joined local clubs and fished for bream and pike. I then moved on to the carp and have stuck with them ever since. I was lucky enough to become a member of the Withy Pool Syndicate in the late 80's, it was there that I cought my first thirty. I was fortunate enough to be fishing amongst many quality anglers and couldn't help but learn from them. I moved on to other syndicates and finally settled on fishing a well known water south of Bedford where I managed to catch 20 fish over 40lbs.
Most memorable angling moment: This has to be a 15 fish catch in 72 hours of which 12 were over 30lbs, the biggest being 42lb 12oz.

Plans for 2008 / Venues you would like to fish: Waters like the Cons, Fisheries, Waltonians are amongst a few. I think I will begin my fishing in the spring at the Bedford Water that has served me so well.
Favourite Ultima products: Power Carp and Power Plus lines as they suit my kind of fishing perfectly

Likes: Travel; South Africa, USA. Fishing in the autumn months, cycling, dog walking, photography.
Dislikes: Fuel prices!! Dear air fares!! My team Chelsea losing!! Losing fish!!
