Angling History and Achievements: I started fishing aged 9 in Sea and Coarse, I progressed into Carp Fishing in the 80s and still do some Carp angling nowadays. Took up Sea Match fishing in 1991 and never looked back. My biggest achievement is becoming an England International Sea Angler in 2005.
Most memorable angling moment: Winning the 2003 Penn Final on Tynemouth Breakwater.
Winning Team gold in Ireland last year.
Favourite Venues: Chesil Beach in Dorset.
Bossington beach in Somerset.
Dunster beach in Somerset.
Plans for 2008 / Venues you would like to fish: I would like to fish Dungeness in Kent.
Going to Australia in December to visit family and to do some fishing Oz style.
Favourite Ultima products: I use F1, Power Plus for reel lines, excellent strength and durablilty.
Memor-x, tough abrasion resistance, supple and strong.
Favourite rigs: I use Portsmouth loop rigs.
3 hook clip down rigs.
Long 3 hook flapper rigs.
Favourite bait: Yellow tail lugworms and mackeral, peeler crabs.
People you would most like to meet: I'd like to meet and fish with Bruce Dickinson, singer in Iron Maiden rock band.
Favourite TV programmes: Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, war and history documentries.
Favourite music: Any music, Def Leppard, U2, Iron Maiden, John Lennon.
Other sports: None.
Likes: Watching F1 racing, keeping Koi Carp, being outdoors, any form of fishing.
Dislikes: Loud show-offs.
