Angling History and Achievements: History wise was born into fishing since then I have achieved many personal fishing goals beyond my years to the extent that I now enjoy helping others achieve theirs.
Most memorable angling moment: The fights from the biggest fish will always stick in my mind and seeing 200lb plus fresh water fish explode out of the water will be hard memories to beat. Guiding my 150th 150lb + catfish and personally catching over 300 30lb+ common carp also rank high.
Favourite Venues: Those that you know you are few and far between in those areas where you sense the biggest fish.
Plans for 2009 / Venues you would like to fish: Got too much going on in 2009, as if 2008 wasn't bad enough with filming, writing, guiding and my Ultima Consultancy, touch wood will get a holiday fishing somewhere, maybe for one of those freshwater Stingray with Rick Humphries.
Favourite Ultima products: : Like the tapered shock leaders and the fluro hook link is a winner for short combi-rigs, will have a play with the sea lines due to diameter and venues I fish and will keep you all posted.
Favourite rigs: Slack lines and running leads, size 8 swivels to uncoated, unwaxed 25lb braid then a bum knot and a 2inch fluro combi tied to a size 2 carp Busster Continental and a boilie pellet cocktail or MPH hook bait.
Favourite bait: - Like making my own, especially hook baits, swim feed used is mainly boilie crumb and small particle, hook baits are usually cheeky ones, I like natural meaty fish flavours and essential oils dependant on water temperature.
People you would most like to meet: : People that have a general enthusiasm for fishing and fish care who can make a decent cup of tea.
Favourite TV programmes: : Not watched TV for nearly 5 years so it would have to be film like Finding Nemo!
Favourite music: Proper mixed bag.
Other sports: Bedroom Olympics.
Likes: A rising morning mist with head and shoulders over right hand rod.
Dislikes: Fishing for fishing's sake.
