Tips and Tactics For Sea Bream
A broken reef with a wreck located on it is the ideal hunting ground for the black bream.
Float Fishing: This technique is often used when fishing for sea bream from shore or pier. Use a medium float rig to suspend the bait at a preferred depth just above the seabed.
Ledgering (Bottom Fishing): When fishing from the shore, you can also use a ledger rig. This involves placing the bait directly on the bottom, where sea bream often feed.
Feeder Fishing: You can use a feeder rig with groundbait to draw sea bream in. This technique works well in deeper waters and during stronger tides.
Rods and Reels: Use a light to medium action rod (around 10-12 feet) to improve sensitivity when detecting bites. Pair this with a reel with a smooth drag system, as sea bream can put up a good fight.
