Steve has been carp fishing for over 20 years, and is widely regarded as one of the most innovative and influential carp anglers in Britain. He is responsible for several major innovations in carp angling, including the renowned Withy Pool Rig which he first developed in the 80’s at the challenging Withy Pool Lake, and has refined over the years to be one of the most efficient and successful carp fishing rigs ever.

Steve has written for and appeared in countless carp angling magazines and has shared his rig expertise in several highly successful DVD’s. He is a regular presenter for Bivvy.TV and an integral part of Ultima’s UK Team. Steve also runs his own bait company, utilizing his years of experience and experimentation with bait.
